Hello All  ,

 I want to know good points about cloud hosting. I am from hardware industry but planning to learn and get into cloud or Virtual servers.

In my opinion difference between dedicated server hosting and cloud hosting is two different things. best dedicated server hosting India is just dedicated to you but in cloud the server is typically a virtual server that is running on a multiple platform with cloud service providers.

As all said above cloud is nothing but new buzz word for selling hosting. But it help user to target market, security in work along with flexibility.

Cloud is mostly preferred by companies because they save a lot of resources and can virtualize hardware. This helps in saving space, power, cooling and makes efficient use of all hardware. However its cool marketing term “cloud”

In my opinion cloud hosting is different for every business:- 

 For Start-up business :- Anyone can start business with good idea and running on an enterprise grade IT infrastructure that is flexible enough to accommodate growth but with minimal capital expenditure.

For Small to Medium Sized Businesses: - Cloud allows them to focus on running their business. They have advantage of wide portfolio of compute, storage and network products, cost effectively scale on demand as their business grows, and deliver faster time to market.

For mid large enterprises:- Complex hosting needs varying department and corporate – wide infrastructure required, high traffic websites and demanding applications ,cloud offers ability to drive down costs and deliver increases operational efficiency , productivity , agility and flexibility.
