how to change server time to india time

Hey All,

i want change the server time to india time,but i don't know what's area in /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/
 
the Server system is CentOS6

Hey Richard. I hope all is going well. You will need to use /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Kolkata for Indian time.

and i want know what is the common NTP server address in India.

There are not enough servers in Indian zone. It's best to use Asia zone (asia.pool.ntp.org) for common NTP server address in India.

server 0.asia.pool.ntp.org
server 1.asia.pool.ntp.org
server 2.asia.pool.ntp.org
server 3.asia.pool.ntp.org
