Title: wiki questions
Post by: Guruu on May 12, 2014, 10:50:30 PM
I hope you guys could answer my questions.

Can I create a wiki with your service that is password protected? In other words, a wiki that can't be accessed by anyone who does not have a password. But it will contain proprietary content.

We provide Softaculous auto-installer with our hosting plans (https://www.milesweb.com/softaculous-hosting.php). It can be used to install the Wiki application in a minute. The Wiki site can be easily protected by setting a password. Without password the visitors will not be able to access the Wiki site. You can add your proprietary content on the Wiki site.

Password Protection can be enabled on your Wiki website. Simply, login to your cPanel & access option Password Protected Directories. Select the directory which needs to be password protected and create the users to authenticate with a strong password.

You can create as many users as you want with Password Protection from cPanel.
