Title: eCommerce Multistore Solution
Post by: Brain Coffey on May 15, 2014, 05:14:09 PM
One of my friends operates an eCommerce venture and I am helping him in operations. Right now he is using WordPress and Joomla plugins for managing the shopping carts and keeping the track of inventory and orders. This really seems to be getting out of hand.

We are looking for a CMS eCommerce platform that will enable us to transfer and manage all the stores through one admin panel. We are also looking ahead to add-on more clients in the future.

I want the users to be able to edit their own CSS/HTML/website design and they should be able to upload excel (.cvs). or anything else for the large inventory files. Some of the stores have more than 100 items.

If you are looking for a platform for managing a multi-store environment, then CS-Cart (https://www.milesweb.com/cscart-hosting.php) is the best solution for you. With CS-Cart, you can manage multiple stores through a single back-end. You get the required flexibility for managing the products, catalogs, payments, orders etc. When it comes to the store front look and feel, through CS-Cart, you can configure and customize that separately. CS-Cart also enables you to create unique web design, menus, sitemap and product inventory for every website.

You can also manage a multi-store enviornment with OpenCart (https://www.milesweb.com/opencart-hosting.php). OpenCart enables multi-store management through just one installation. If you have OpenCart installed on any one store, you can easily add multiple stores to your admin panel without repeating the installation process.

Thanks for sharing that list :D I have read about osCommerce, it is an extremely efficient platform for creating multiple stores for one product. The best thing is that, you can manage all the stores with just one admin.
