One of the biggest concerns that website owners have while selecting a web hosting package is figuring out how much bandwidth they'll need.
In case you sign up for a package with too less bandwidth, either you might be hit by overage fees or the functioning of your website might get affected. If the bandwidth offered is more than your requirement, then you are unnecessarily paying for the bandwidth that you don't actually need. So how do you know the exact amount of bandwidth required?

This is a simple multiplication formula that comprises of the website size, number of web pages and number of visitors your expect for your website in a day. With these numbers you will be able to derive the monthly bandwidth required for your website.
For example : You have 4 pages on your site and your page size is around 40KB. Suppose you expect about 60 visitors a day with each visitor viewing each page; the bandwidth of your website per day should be:
40KB x 60 visitors x 4 pages=9600 KB

I must say that you have shared a great way of calculating the website bandwidth. However, I am still unsure about whether the exact bandwidth can be determined with this method. This is a bit difficult. I think that the website owners need to sign up for a comfortable web hosting package that provides with adequate bandwidth, probably a little more than what is required.
How many people tried calculating bandwidth with the method I mentioned?
I tried calculating the bandwidth for one of my friend's website. I must say this formula works well 8)
