Post by: Dipak Bhoi on December 27, 2013, 03:41:54 AM
Hello guys,

I am getting daily 50 spam emails and want to stop receiving these spam in future, is there any way to protect emails from spam from cPanel ?

The solution cPanel offer for the e-mail protection is called SpamAssassin.
To configure your SpamAssassin, please follow the steps below:

Quote1] To access the SpamAssassin Menu login into cPanel >> click on the SpamAssassin icon.
2] To enable SpamAssassin, click on the Enable SpamAssassin button.
3] To enable Spam Box, click on Enable Spam Box.
4] To configure SpamAssassin, click on Configure SpamAssassin.
a] You can blacklist up to five mail addresses from which you don't want to receive mail.
b] In the required_score field you can set the number of hits required before a mail is considered as spam.
c] In the score fields you can assign scores to a given test performed by SpamAssassin.
The last five fields are for whitelisted mail addresses. You should whitelist addresses which tagged incorrectly as spam.
