Title: Website speed http and https

Hi Guys,

One of my client asked if there is any speed difference once you browse website with http and https. If there is any what is the recommended protocol to use.

In my opinion, there is not much of a difference in website speed for HTTP and HTTPS. However, I think that the browser used aslo makes a difference in website speed.

I read some information online about this topic. There is no notable or significant difference in website speed by either HTTP or HTTPS.

According to my information, both HTTP and HTTPS follow the same basic protocol. It is just that HTTPS denotes that the transmitted information is encrypted. Other than that, I don't think it makes a major difference in the website speed.
