Title: How to transfer domain in cPanel?
Post by: Arnav on October 22, 2014, 03:44:36 PM
I already own a domain name and hosting with a web hosting company.

I am planning to purchase another domain name but it will be separate from my existing domain name and hosting account. I want to know how can I import the domain name to cPanel of my existing hosting account or set it up for redirecting to other domain?

In order to transfer your domain name in cPanel, you have to change the Name Server records of your domain to the ones on the server. You will find the name server settings in the left hand side column of your cPanel account. Once the name server records are changed, you can either use it as a parked domain or an addon domain according to your preference.

Thanks for the information, is there anything else that I have to do for transferring the domain name or that's it?
