Post by: Amit_007 on July 13, 2015, 04:19:47 PM
I have come across many types of SSL certificates on the net. Which one is the best for an eCommerce website? and what is the difference between these SSL certificates?

You can consider 2048-bit SSL encryption for your eCommerce website. MilesWeb offers Rapid SSL (https://www.milesweb.com/ssl-certificates.php), you can consider it for your website. After checking the SSL page https://www.milesweb.com/ssl-certificates.php it seems that the difference is of the warranty, green bar and the trust level.

Well thanks for the information. Does it matter if I have an SSL certificate but there is no green bar displayed on my website? Will it make any difference in the way customer perceive the website?

The SSL certificate with our without green bar is going to establish an encrypted connection between the visitors web browser and the web hosting server (https://www.milesweb.com/web-hosting.php). The data would be transferred over a secure network. The SSL certificate with green bar may help the visitors to quickly notice that the website is secure and it may further improve the visitor engagement. The visitors would be comfortable with your website and will not hesitate to carry out any transactions through your website.
