Title: mongodb in cpanel

A quick question to milesweb team. can i install mongoDB in cpanel ?

I am currently using your business hosting package.

Hi Vivek,

I hope all is well.

MongoDB is a database server that needs to be installed on the server. Linux platform does not support multi MySQL databases. For MongoDB you need to consider a VPS plan with cPanel (https://www.milesweb.com/vps-hosting.php) OR Webuzo control panel. You will then be able to replace MySQL with MongoDB.

Thanks Chinmay. I am browsing through the VPS plans & which plan do you think is good to start with ?

Our Executive VPS plan is good to start with. cPanel OR Webuzo requires atleast 786 MB RAM & Executive VPS comes with 1GB RAM.
