I am looking for cheap domain name with hosting like .Com, .Org, .net or .info domain. Budget is around 1-3$ for domain. I can buy domain and hosting separately
Some web hosting may give you free domain but you don't expect service less than 60$ a year. But this my perception cost may defer company to company as per their service. Tell me one thing you are looking to transfer your website out of any web hosting or it is a completely new domain registration and hosting account.

In my opinion every hosting company gives full control over domain name whether you are hosting or not. I will advice you read TOS to get idea about terms of domain name including hosting package. Otherwise it is wastage of time investing in two different companies for same thing.
Hello, as you are looking for cheap domain, I would suggest to choose .com domain. Because it is most widely used, and people are mostly habitual to .com domain.

In my opinion I will suggest you that keep separate domain and hosting provider. It is very clear that buying domain from host is always at higher risk than buying from some reputable domain register.
I agree that buying domain name from branded domain register is safe but there are many branded hosting company who give good service for domain name with security.
