I am a blogger and I am running a technology blog. I want to explore my skills globally with the help of the blog and also trying my best to bring my site on top in search engine. Right now DA of my site is 30 and I am looking to adopt more quality techniques to increase the DA. As we all know that backlinks are the main technique that is used to increase the traffic and DA of the site. There are multiple factors that need to be considered while building a backlink. Some of my friends and colleagues suggested me to use social profiles to get quality backlinks. So can you guys help me out to know is social profiles beneficial to get backlinks?
Yes, you can use social profiles to get backlinks. Most of the online users ignore the messages and request from brands on social media sites. Due to growing competition and everyone looking forward to promoting their service. On the other hand, personal profiles help to build better relationships with the experts or users who belong to some background. Networking becomes easy with the help of profile in respected fields.
As per my opinion, they are giving nofollow links that are not beneficial to get backlinks. Because search engine ignores nofollow links, but it can be used to get traffic.
It is useful if you are taking the link from high authority sites. If profile backlink is No-follow then it is of no use because Google will not count that link.
From an SEO perspective, they are not passing many benefits to the backlinks. You can use those links to point the competitive keywords. After all, it all depends on your backlink strategy.
Social networking sites are used to drive potential drive on the website, sometimes it also passes the link popularity, but not all social profile links are quality backlinks. If you have a high DA profile like MOZ, then it must be considered a high-quality backlink. But top search engines like Google, they give, the more importance those links that come through an article, post, blog than the social profile links. :)
Social media like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, etc are more beneficial if your online presence is good.
It is the most debatable topic among SEO professionals because it is not clear how search engine treats the social links. But as per my opinion, your rankings do not get affected by social shares, but on the other hand, it is true that your profile gets ranked in the search engine.
Yes, I have the good presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Networking is becoming strong along with engagement on the page.

Yes, it serves more benefit to your website as well as the backlinks perspective. Before the final submission always make sure that the profile link pointing to the website is giving Do-follow link. If it is not then there's no use of it to take the backlink from the same. Also, check the DA of the website, if the DA of the website is more than your website then fill the profile and take backlink from the same but if it is lower than your website then skip that website and don't get any backlink from the same.
