I belong to sales field. You also know that an ultimate aim of sale person is to generate the sales lead. Every company design a marketing campaign with an objective to generate leads, create brand awareness, increase the traffic, etc. All types of the campaign are designed with the same objective of earning the profit. But when it comes to closing a deal the techniques may differ in case of cold sales, Emails and advertisement. A healthy year of experience must be required to turn that leads into actual sales. Can you guys help me to know how to close leads generated from cold sales, emails and advertisement?
As per my opinion, this is a very debatable topic because everyone has their own perception and strategies to close the leads. I think it is crucial to understand the type of leads you are targeting and how these leads are getting approached by your sales team.

Yes, I agree with Maneet.
Additionally, you can offer something valuable whenever you start your conversation. There is a golden rule " First give something and in return expect nothing" follow this rule while communicating. Because in cold selling user does not entertain you unless you talk something that gives benefit to them.

According to me closing, any leads could be considered an art and a skill as well. The more you interact with them the more knowledge/information you get from the same. Also, while closing a lead always make sure that, they gained the guaranteed trust from you and they will stay connected with you even after completing the work. In short, maintaining the harmony with clients is very important from the business perspective.
Offer a free trial to the customer, this will help you to know which of your trials are working effectively in terms of paying customers and which are just meeting around.
An ultimate aim of cold calling may not get fulfilled with the first call and it is obvious that this will happen with all the calls. To avoid such situations, you can use referral while having a conversation. A referral will add credit to your call and this lead to deeper conversation.
As per my opinion, cold calling is dead and it does not give effective output. It is better to opt for email marketing as it is booming the market, and almost everyone has their own mail id.
When you are closing any lead means you have some special skill as compared to others. My opinion is not only to call that generated leads and close the deal is not a cup of tea for this, you need to interact with leads and understand the actual situation. And also make a friendly relation with them for future deals. :)

Thank you!! Agree with Lokesh, I am also thinking to focus on email marketing instead of cold calling.
