Forums are the great source of getting backlinks. I posted on many forums and added links in the signature and thread as well. So, Is it worth to get backlinks from the forums to increase the ranking of the website?
Yes, you can use the forum to get backlinks for your website. But some forums are strict as you have to follow their rules to add keyword or link in the signature.
Yes, forum links are worth but it is tough to get backlinks from the forum which have high DA.
I personally think that this types of link don't add value to the link building process.

I don't know about SEO point of view but to get traffic to the website it is worth.
You can skip the forum for backlinks and opt for guest posting it is more worth and there is no risk of getting the band.
