Title: Limitations to a WordPress website.
Post by: Ritu on January 19, 2019, 04:18:59 PM
Hello everyone.
I am thinking to move to WordPress, as it is an easy way to build a website.
So before initiating my work I just want to ask, are there any limitations to a WordPress website?

WordPress is the most used content management system in the world. The only disadvantage I can find is that it uses many plugins and themes for the customization purpose. Therefore, there is a high chance of WordPress getting affected due to malware. To avoid this, it always better to get a managed WordPress provider (https://www.milesweb.com/hosting/wordpress-hosting), who will secure your site from all such vulnerabilities.

The WordPress is easy to use CMS if you know all the SQL, CSS and HTML queries. To access all the additional non-standard files used in WordPress CMS requires the additional syntax to access. Also, the script and other applications are not protected in it. For that, you need to hire the WordPress management partner who can provide you with the SSL security.

Yes there are some limitations when you develop a website in WordPress. But if you are using it just for blogging then surely WordPress is very beneficial for you.

This is because WordPress is mainly developed for content management rather than other ecommerce.

No doubt you can develop any other type of website in WordPress but you will have to be ready for the difficulties you will face such as website security, customization requires coding, frequent updates, etc. But all this can be managed via plugins.
