While looking for the web hosting plans I have seen some of the companies provide control panel access to their customers. But, I am confused about what control panel is?
Can you guys help me with that?

Control Panel is a part of Microsoft Windows that provides you the ability to view and change system settings. You are allowed to add or remove hardware and software, control user accounts, change accessibility options, access network settings.

Which includes keyboard and mouse function, power management, desktop backgrounds, sounds, hardware, program installation and removal, speech recognition, parental control, etc.
