Title: Can I host WordPress on shared hosting and how?
Post by: Keeran on April 15, 2019, 02:45:02 PM
Hey everyone,
I am using WordPress for my personal blog, but due to some technical issues that I face on a regular basis, it has become inconvenient to handle. So I am planning to get a hosting partner. In this case, would I be able to host WordPress on shared hosting? If yes, then how to do it?

Yes, you can definitely host WordPress on shared hosting.
As WordPress has gained large popularity most of the shared hosting providers are well equipped to handle the WordPress blog and website. There are many hosting providers that provide you 1 click installation, allowing you to get the set up with new WordPress as quickly as possible.

I think shared hosting and WordPress hosting are the types of hosting provided by hosting companies.
For small websites that don't need a large number of resources for customization, shared hosting is a great option for them.

WordPress hosting is a service provided to host the websites created by using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
Mainly, all the hosting providers take the responsibility of managing your WordPress website. They look deep into technical details so that you can focus on your primary business.
Yes, a shared hosting provider can also host your WordPress website.

You can host WordPress with a standard shared hosting package. But if you install lots of plugins you'll quickly eat up the resources on your server and it won't be long before you start to run into problems. If you decide to use WordPress as your CMS you should stick to managed WordPress hosting.
