When the domain is in redemption period, it means that it is in the grace period that is allotted for renewing a domain name after it is expired. ICANN provides with this grace period so that domain names are not inadvertently deleted.

@Sameer You have mentioned some plugins here. This thread is about a full fledged eCommerce CMS that takes all the aspects of establishing an online store in mind.

I have listed the WordPress plugins for the online store owners who prefer using WordPress as a CMS for setting up their online store.

Many online store plugins are provided by WordPress. Some of the prominent ones include Symbiostock, Product Catalog, WooCommerce Stock Images by grfx, WP Shop, POWr eCommerce, Jigoshop etc. You will find a WordPress plugin for almost all the functions of the online store.

A good web hosting company is recognized with the services provided. Host your website with a hosting company that is really available 24/7 to sort your website issues.

Why do you recommend WordPress over Magento?

Well this sounds great. I am fine with the basic cPanel package. However, with time my visitors and forum members are going to increase so I will have to upgrade the package. How long will it take to upgrade my hosting account in case it is required?

Domain Names / Re: Help with new domain name

Thanks for the update Shanaya. I was also keen on some different domain name TLDs! Is it fine if I use a .co.in TLD or a .net TLD for an online store website?

I will opt for Magento, I read about it. Do you think it is a good match for a web designing website?

Thanks for the update. I will try the steps that you have mentioned.

One of the most convenient ways of checking website speed and improvising on it is through Google Webmaster Tools. There is a tool known as 'PageSpeed Insights'. Access this tool and enter your web page URL. The tool will detect the exact problems responsible for the slowdown of your website and it will also provide you tips for fixing them.

This is a valuable because Google also utilizes a similar tool for website speed analysis in order to determine website rankings. Use of this tool will enable you to see your website through Google's eyes.

You can think of having a floating search box that moves according to the cursor of the user. Or else, you can place the search box in the top right corner of the website on every page. As the search box is prominently displayed, customers will not have to search for it on your website.

Thanks for the update. Do I get any forum builder or website builder software with any of the cPanel packages?
