Simple way to install litespeed on the cPanel server.

This post will help you to install litespeed server in your cPanel server.

What is LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) ?

How to insta LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) in cPanle server ?

It is very simple to install LiteSpeed in you cPanel server, follow the following steps to install it.

1. Login to your serve via SSH as a root user.

2. Browse the link http://www.litespeedtech.com/products/control-panel-plugins/download , here you will find the cPanel/WHM Plugin for install litespeed or you can also see there is a cPanel/WHM LiteSpeed AutoInstaller.

3. Copy the download link location of plugin file and download it with wget command. 

#wget http://www.litespeedtech.com/packages/cpanel/lsws_whm_plugin_install.sh

4. You will get the file " lsws_whm_plugin_install.sh " Just run this script.

#sh ./lsws_whm_plugin_install.sh

5. After install this plugin login to your WHM by root user login.  There you can see the Litespeed Install  plugin under Plugins section.

6. Click on it and follow the fuhrer instruction in  install window. After finished it you will see LiteSpeed Web Server under Plugins section.

7. Now you have to Build the PHP version. Go to  LiteSpeed Web Server under Plugins section and Click on Build Matching LSPHP option. And then click on Build matching PHP button.

8. Now you have a 15-Day Trial license for LiteSpeed. Purchase the license from LiteSpeed upload in Change License in License Management section. Otherwise you can test it for 15 Days.

9. Now last step to complete it ie. Switched to LiteSpeed. Click on Switched to LiteSpeed and the you will get the below output. And then restart the LiteSpeed.

LiteSpeed is running (PID = 14035, Apache_Port_Offset = 0). Apache is not running.
