If I pay the charges for WHOIS privacy protection for a .com domain, will my name be displayed on the WHOIS records? I am aware that the address etc. is not shown but what about the name?

In whois privacy protection feature, the domain owner details like name, address, contact details are not displayed. Random information is shown in whois record.

Hi Kavita. If you wish to hide the whois information, you will have to opt for Whois ID Protect when you register a domain name. With Whois ID Protect nobody will be able to know domain owner's name, address and contact details.

If you register a domain with us, you get Whois ID Protect for free and there is no additional charge for it.
