SSL Improve Ranking / An “Asset Or Liability “for SEO, Isn’t??

You must be thinking why I m calling SSL An "Asset Or Liability "for SEO .Because it's quite interesting to know, what other have their wordy upon it!!

The SSL connection protects sensitive data for every user. Also, it gives authenticity as right information is been asked to right web server.

According to my knowledge its an asset it secures website that are built for financial and transactions  company.

But what I think its not only security certificate and security layer that will lead to increasing rankings.

Yes!! I consider SSL an asset for a company in terms of ranking.  Even though its small it helps a lot and considering " SMALL THINGS" that leads to greater effect because SEO is never ending process.

Two years ago Google started using SSL as ranking signal.
