Hello Guys!!!

The billing system of my choice is WHMCS.  I want to know the best practice when it comes to accepting multiple currencies for the exact same service offered?

Let's take e.g. of currencies?  My preferred options are USD and EURO – should I have mirror copy of my hosting website (for e.g.COM (for USD) and .EU (for Euro) respectively). So that buyer chooses the site for purchasing along with currency preferable for payment.

Because it's quite difficult for handling two license of WHMCS , administration , accounting tasks on two different sites , maintaining both website along with mirrored  at all the times. (Except payment of currency) etc.

WHMCS is easy to use and configure multiple currencies. It's have there are few steps that needs to be followed:-

Make sure that your current provider (PayPal, etc) can handle multiple currencies.

•   Login to WHMCS.  Go to admin, setup your currency there. Keep your default on first one and don't change the same.
•   Go into admin for each product in pricing tab. And make sure your currency pricing is up to date.

The customer can make the payment in any currency but I want the final invoice to be generated in the base currency of my choice and it should not be converted.

I got answer while browsing through WHCMS forum, that it is not possible to do that without creating custom template.

What benefit your customer will get while selecting currency, if he is not able to get bill in chosen currency.

For e.g.: - you want to get paid in USD but your price is in EUR. Let's assume customer wants to pay 3 EUR, then at payment gateway, it will show visible 3.3 USD. But his card is in EUR i.e. again it will convert in EUR using exchange rate of his bank. Then it won't be those 3 EUR.

I would advice you that inform your customers to pay in chosen currency. But when withdrawing money from your merchant account choose the currency you want.

If you have WHMCS, you can link with PayPal and accept multiple currencies. In that you can enable the currencies of your choice and also update WHMCS with conversation rate daily through CRON. When customer select desire currency then WHMCS will automatically adjust all invoice to that currency.

WHMCS is most flexible and easy to use. It has provided most customer friendly environment, and available at well cost. WHMCS itself provided multi-currency option. You can set your base/default currency as per need and add another currency as a secondary.

It is given by-default that the base currency will be in USD. It can be edited and make changes to currency if it is not USD. Additional currencies are been provided in WHMCS.

You can configure the currencies you wish to use in your WHMCS installation in Setup > Payments > Currencies
