Analyzing my Tech Blog - Position in Google searches

Hello, hope all is well!

I have a query.

One of my tech blog speaks about the happenings and updates in Technology Industry.

If I type "Technology Blog" in Google, several blogs appears on the first page but mine does not.

Well, I decided to analyze the keywords of the site and their structure and none of them have the target keywords or description and the sites are not even responsive.

My index page is well updated. Why my blog does not appear in searches?

Google is not banishing the non-responsive sites of research?

Now if I type, "tech blog and includes the city name at the end", then yes it appears in the first position.
I changed some page keywords, but Google still not updated it in the searches.

My blog is not perfect, but tried to make as close as possible according to SEO standards, at least implemented all that I know and learned is included in the project.

At certain times domain authority is considered, the one who has a better authority, ranks better. As a brief review, I saw that some company websites whose DA is 49/100, appears first, but those who have 15/100, does not lists on a better position.

Considering DA, Google interprets that this result is the best, but if the site is not responsive, it does not get proper listing in searches that are done from mobile phones. 

Still there are a few more points to consider, and the page authority is one of them.

A couple of actions need to be taken on long term basis. The activities that can increase user engagement with the site, increase the truthfulness of the content and updating the blog almost on everyday basis can be of help.

Got it!

But I believe that the blog already has enough content. Considering domain age factor, then it is just six months old. I have asked my friend to build some backlinks for the blog. Hope this will help in improving the DA and PA of the blog.
