Good content Vs Great content!!!

It has been observed by many SEO experts that "great" content is ultimate result for driving search engine rankings.

My question is – if your content is value added that is ultimate result for prospects who is searching for, what makes great content better than good content?

Is it length of article?
Is mixing content with graphics to make it more visually appealing?
Does outbound links to authority sites make any difference?
Does by changing alignment or bolding keyword have any effect?

My perception is that good content is created by using bullet points, managing white space,using proper tags along with no grammatical and spelling error.

I think content is written for inviting the viewers on our website i.e. content should be catchy and to the point which make viewers understand properly.

On other hand SEO requires us to have content with certain keyword density. I.e. for SEO specialist it's quite tough job to make such content user friendly along with decent keyword density.

You cannot judge between good content and great content.

Because viewer is only reading content and ultimate aim is to divert that reader towards your company website and increase the chances of conversion.

As web hosting industry is vast with no's of competitors. Content is the best tool to create awareness about your company amongst people.

Therefore content should be written in super niche and it should be focusing customer centric.

I am also newbie and writing few articles. Then I come to know that my articles are not ranking good in Google search.

Later I came to know that along with content, back links do matter.

Great content help the visitors to share the post on social media. So maintaining great content with less key word density is an art.

In that content length graph, it shows that we are writing article in the 3000 to 10000 word range to get most of shares.

Under 1000 of words looks to score the least amount of share.

A good content is something that is for SEO purpose and great content is something that full fills both reader and SEO.

Content should be in informative way. It should add values to its user. Content should be written in order to maintain interest of customer rather than just bombarding points. Its debatable whether content should be good or great, but it should add something new to its reader.

Curious because Google has said many times that they consider good content as something which is written for visitors- providing value that adds experience to your site and not something that is designed to increase SEO ranking

The content should include appropriate length, supplementing with images, video embeds, info-graphics or other media, using proper page and text formatting, etc. The good content automatically becomes great content.
