What do you guys think about the new domain name extensions? New extensions like .tip, .estate, .reviews Will they work?

By the end of this year, we will see a list of new extensions launched by ICANN. The domain registrars are going to make a lot of money. This may take SEO in a new direction, like giving more preference to the local/niche websites in the search engines. The WWW will get more and more complicated.
