Which shopping cart would you recommend as the best one for an online store website? One of my friends had an experience with OpenCart but I was wondering is there are any other shopping cart softwares that can be used.

I would recommend Prestashop. It is easy and it is amazing! You can see a live demo on creating an online store with Prestashop and proceed accordingly. With Prestashop, nothing is difficult and it can be easily downloaded on any web hosting platform.

Yes Prestashop is really good. When I am on the online shopping websites, most of them publish 'proudly powered by Prestashop'

Has anyone heard about Yahoo Merchant Solutions? Or has anyone used the Yahoo merchant platform for setting up the online store?

I have never used the Yahoo merchant platform before but I have heard about it. It comprises of an in-built customer-friendly shopping cart. Many good features are provided by Yahoo like tracking tools, access manager, name recognition, domain and email address etc.

I am not sure if many people prefer using the Yahoo Merchant platform. Online store owners are more comfortable with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, OpenCart, Prestashop etc. these are the commonly used content management systems.
