Hello guys,

If you are receiving a notification from cPanel like as below.

Quote-----Original Message-----
From: cPanel on vps.yourserver.com [mailto:cpanel@vps.yourserver.com]

Subject: tailwatchd on vps.yourserver.com failed

tailwatchd failed @ Wed Jun 20 21:35:10 2014. A restart was attempted
automagically.
Service Check Method: [check command] tailwatchd is not running

Don't worry this is just a notification from cPanel server, now login to your server via ssh and check if tailwatchd service is running or not by running following command:

Quote#/usr/local/cpanel/libexec/tailwatchd --status

If you see output with "tailwatchd is enabled" message then close the notification, otherwise check the logs from following command:

Quote#tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/tailwatchd_log

To restart the tailwatchd service you need to restart cPanel service.

#/etc/init.d/cpanel restart

cPanel service will restart the tailwatchd service as well.

That's all Enjoy !
