Cloaking is a black hat search engine optimization technique in which the content exhibited to the search engine bots is distinctive to that introduced to the client's web browser.

Doorway pages is designed for spamdexing.  Once the guest achieves the page, they are diverted to another site.

1) A website that is engaged in the black hat SEO prepares two sets of content. One is targeted for bots and other is for human visitors. Bots are identified by their IP address.
2) Since bot IP's can change black hat informants supports updated list of bot IP addresses.
3) Bots support abundant fabricated content packed with targeted keywords and this fake information helps to boost rankings.   
4) Human visitors are not able to get accurate data despite website high rankings.
