Installation of Tomcat and adding JSP support for a domain

Hi guys,

To install Tomcat on server. Follow the following step :-

1. Login to WHM
2. Follow the tab " Main >> Software >> EasyApache (Apache Update)"
3. Ensure 'Previously Saved Config (** DEFAULT **)' is selected.
4. Click on the Start customizing based on profile button.
5. On the 'Apache Version' page, click on the Next button.
6. On the 'PHP Version' page, click on the Next button.
7. On the 'Short Options List' page, check the box next to 'Tomcat'.
8. Click on the Save and build button.
9. Click on the Yes button.
10.  Click on the I understand button.

Once the recompile completed then you can Add servlet support to Domain.

For Adding servlet support

1. Go to WHM > Account Functions > Install Servlets.
2. Select domain name and click on Install button.
         
                            OR

You can also do this using the following in shell:

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/addservlets2 --domain=domain.com

You should know that your .jsp files will not work on the cPanel temporary URL. It will only work via the actual domain name .
