Email Auto-Responder delivers messages on your behalf when you are not working.
It enables you to schedule messages for anyone to be sent at any-time.
Just prepare a message, schedule it as per the recipients and time, and it will be sent automatically in your absence. That means, it delivers your best content, in the best possible order and frequency, to every new reader who finds you.

Domain Names / What to do, if domain I want is already registered?
« on: October 12, 2019, 06:29:09 PM »
Hey,
I want to buy a domain and for that, I came up with a domain name. But, during registration, I found out that the same domain name is already registered. What shall I do in such case, I genuinely want to have that domain name.

This is a usual doubt before registering a domain. Will try to explain in simple terms :

1) Domain registrant:
Any person who wants to register a domain name is called as domain registrant. That means, an end customer.

[When you decide to buy a domain, you reach out to domain registrars or resellers.]

2) Domain registrar: Registrars are accredited organizations that take responsibility for processing the registration of domain names.

3) Domain resellers: Reseller registers a domain on behalf of registrants, but they don't have a contractual relationship with ICANN.

Thanks everyone, for your valuable answers.

Domain Privacy :

Domain privacy is a service provided by domain name registrars. As a site owner, you need to purchase privacy from the domain registrar, who in turn will replace your information in the WHOIS with information for a forwarding service in-order to maintain your privacy and anonymity.

Web Hosting / Re: What is SSL certificate?
« on: July 01, 2019, 02:45:28 PM »
SSL certificate protects your sensitive information while it travels through computer networks.
SSL is used to keep the information sent in the encrypted form so that only the intended recipient can access it.
It helps to secure the website's information like credit card numbers, usernames, passwords, etc. while it gets a transfer from a computer to the server. Thus, the SSL certificate protects your information from hackers and identity thieves.

Web Hosting / Re: Pros and Cons of Web hosting
« on: June 25, 2019, 04:53:38 PM »
Hey,
I think the pros and cons of web hosting depend on the provider. Still,  I will list down some of the common things that I think might help you :

Pro's of Web Hosting are :
1) It protects your website.
2) The web hosting provider offers you unlimited hosting resources
3) Genuine hosting providers also offer SSL certificate, SSD storage space, and free migration.
4) You get higher uptime with genuine hosting providers.

Con's of web hosting is not much. The only I think is sometimes the cost issue. There isn't any fixed cost associated for any specific type of hosting, as it varies from provider to provider.

Web Hosting / Re: What is a DDoS attack?
« on: May 15, 2019, 04:52:47 PM »
DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attack is mainly caused due to the heavy traffic to your server. In this case, the attacker gains control of the network of online machines in order to carry out an attack. The attackers are known to infect your computers and other machines with malware, turning each one into a bot. Attackers have remote control over the group of bots, and those are called a botnet.

After botnet establishment, the attacker will be able to direct the machines via remote control and they will make the IP address as their victims and gets targeted by the botnet. Steadily each bot will start sending a request to the target and will cause the network to reach overflow capacity, which causes denial-of-service to normal traffic.  This way DDoS attack infects to the system or server.

Domain Names / Re: What is mean by my EPP key?
« on: May 06, 2019, 03:02:39 PM »
The EPP key (Authorization code) is a safeguard against authorized transferring of domain name registration and it protects your rights as a domain owner. So you won't require it while registering a domain for the first time, but yes, without EPP key it is impossible to even initiate the domain transfer from a current provider to other.
