Hashtag means a '#' sign in front of a word or phrase has become mainstream on social media. These hashtags are used as keywords in your content which can be searched and allows you to become a part of large conversations.

Important steps to create hashtag are :

1. Make a clear idea of what you want to be associated with on social media.
-> For example if you belong to the clothing industry then you should focus on hashtags like #clothes #fashion #apparel, etc. here you must use irrelevant hashtags like #shoes #realestate and others.

2. Research your hashtags

-> you can search on different social media platforms by inserting your relevant keywords.
You can also use hashtag research tools like TWUBS, or hashtagify.me to learn more about the existing hashtags.

3. Choose hashtags those has long lasting power
-> Choose the memorable hashtags that can create an impact on your follower's mind.

4. Incorporate hashtags with your content.

5. Measure the success of your hashtags.
These steps will help you to create and measure your hashtag performance.

Hello everyone,
At present, I am facing an issue with my website.
So I contacted my hosting providers for the same, and they said that their servers are down due to DDoS attacks and hence my website isn't working properly.
Do you know what is DDoS attack? Help me to get my doubts clear.

A dedicated IP address provides faster and better performance over shared IP addresses.
This ultimately increases the arrival of users on your website faster. Also dedicated IP address improves website load time that positively affects SEO performance. Thus I think that a dedicated IP address has benefit values to the SEO.

Domain Names / Re: What Is Caching Only Server?
April 10, 2019, 03:04:15 PM
Caching only server saves the data in a cache file until the time of its expiration arrives. Data gets expired based on the "time-to-live" field attached to data received from another server.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for dedicated resources for a heavy traffic website. The website contains some of the confidential information during the transaction process, so I am confused about which hosting to choose?
Cloud server or Dedicated server.

Aging feature identifies the stale DNS records. Actually, it uses two intervals namely Non-refresh interval and Refresh interval. The DNS record is considered as a stale record when both these intervals are elapsed.

That's a good piece of information. Can you explain these two types of intervals?
It would be very helpful.

Hey Keeran,
Good to see your interest.

Non-Refresh Interval - It is the time period during which the resource record cannot be refreshed. If you refuse to refresh during this period of time, then it reduces the replication traffic as there won't be any need to replicate the same information again.

Refresh Interval - It is the time period during which the resource record can be refreshed.

Hope this answer helps you!

In general, unmanaged VPS hosting is less expensive compared to managed VPS hosting. The reason behind this is that the hosting provider doesn't provide you the other support except to host a website. That means in unmanaged VPS hosting, you have to do the software updating, management, software configuration, etc. manually that too by your own. Whereas, in managed VPS hosting, your provider takes care of such things for you.

Hybrid cloud: Hybrid cloud is a combination of other cloud models such as public cloud, private cloud or community cloud. Thus this cloud takes advantages like scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security from other clouds.

Community cloud: In the community cloud, the cloud infrastructure is provided on the premises or at the data center owned by the third party. Community cloud also has advantages like privacy policy and pay per use, etc. of both private and public clouds.

In shared hosting, multiple websites are hosted on a single server and they share the same resources. so, the possibility of falling short of resources may occur in this type of hosting.
But, the good thing is there are companies that have the option of upgrading the shared hosting plans. That means, whenever you think that your web site's traffic is increasing and you are falling short of resources, you can upgrade your plan to VPS hosting.

Web Hosting / Re: What is the use of Name-based hosting?
February 27, 2019, 03:58:36 PM
In the name based virtual hosting, the server depends on the client to report the host-name as part of the HTTP header. By using this technique, many different hosts would be able to share the same IP address.

In-order to earn from reseller hosting follow the following steps:
(1) Find a genuine 100% white labeled reseller hosting provider.
(2) Choose a plan that can satisfy your business need and also allows you to resell the resources as per your customers requirements.
(3) Categorized the resources as per the customers needs and arrange them in different plans.
Make sure you refer some of the plans from other providers so that you will be able to earn profit from your plans.
(4) Have at-least 3-4 plans ready for your customers.
(5) Sell and earn profit from them.
