I am working with the web hosting company as technical support. But as of now, I am engaged with some other duties like the system administrator. I have noticed that many of our customers are not updating their website, especially users of word press versions 1.5 and 2.5 on our servers.
They generate the ticket to support and ask why their website is suspended or have limited functionality. Being a support person, I inform them because of their poor website management, not updating website software timely and many more.
I really think customers should be informed about their responsibility.

Well,

Having physical office is not indeed important. But if you are targeting local area then the chances are that customers may consider visiting the office to discuss about their requirement/issues.

It will be tough to judge which service is sold most? Every company is specialized in different niches and targets different product and segment. 
For e.g. take any web hosting company, they have their servers in selected area, where they feel that they will get good volume of sale. They don’t focus on other areas. If customer need USA based server than one will hunt for company, which have their servers in USA or vice versa.
