Yes, you can definitely host WordPress on shared hosting.
As WordPress has gained large popularity most of the shared hosting providers are well equipped to handle the WordPress blog and website. There are many hosting providers that provide you 1 click installation, allowing you to get the set up with new WordPress as quickly as possible.

Hey,
Actually, in both Cloud server and Dedicated server, you will get the separate resources for your use only.
Difference between them is :
(i) Dedicated servers - Dedicated Server is a physical that is purchased or rented entirely for your business requirements. A dedicated server is mainly used by large organizations that provide a high level of security for your data and provides a high demand for server capacity.

(ii) Cloud servers - Cloud server is the same as a dedicated server where you get your own resources and it also provides you the high level of data security. The difference in cloud server is that instead of storing your data on any physical server, it gets stored on 'virtual' servers, and the cluster of such servers is called as a cloud. In the cloud server, you can ask the resources whenever there is a requirement for them.

The good way to tackle 404 error is to provide a valuable link on your 404 pages. That means when you design a 404 page, mention the link that will redirect you to the home page, or the page that is most surfed by your users. This way your visitor will land up to the other page and it won't hamper SEO.

I think WooCommerce is the best choice for any kind of e-commerce website. Woocommerce is an e-commerce extension of WordPress, which is the most popular content management system.
Some of the advantages of WooCommerce are :
(1) It allows you to add unlimited products and product attributes to your e-commerce site
(2) It works on all kind of devices
(3) It is very easy to install and use.
(4) It is free, once installed it belongs to you. If you don't have the technical knowledge then you can buy the WordPress hosting plans from any web hosting company that manages your customization and other technical tasks.

Many of the hosting users get confused about what type of hosting to choose to start their hosting journey.
The choice between shared and VPS hosting depends on your website's hosting requirements.

For e.g: if you have heavy e-commerce or any other shopping website or the websites that consist of the transaction process then it is always advisable to select the VPS hosting, even if you are a new hosting user.

For a single blog, or image website, or any other website that doesn't contain any confidential information about your website, you can easily use shared hosting without any problem.

In unmanaged VPS hosting, you won't be allowed to install applications neither you will get any support for the software. Even if you try to install any security patches, you will encounter the error messages, and then you will be responsible for everything that goes wrong with your OS. Many unmanaged hosting providers don't even provide you the control panel access, it will be up to you how to maintain your website.

Whereas in managed VPS hosting, you are allowed to install applications and also get the security from your provider.  Also, you get the control panel access to manage your website database.

Domain Names / Re: How to buy domain names?
March 06, 2019, 03:30:08 PM
I think every website or blog owner must have a unique domain that represents their business. In order to buy a domain, visit MilesWeb -> Web Hosting -> Domains.
You can check the domain names, also you are allowed to transfer the existing domain or renew it.

The hosting server location is important from the website's SEO point of view.
Google has made an announcement in 2010, that indicates the importance of page loading time of search engine results. And, if the server location is near to your targeted business then you will surely get the fast loading speed for your webpages.

Domain Names / Re: Uses of Virtual Domain.
February 21, 2019, 11:17:59 AM
There are two basic types of Virtual domains for a mail server:
1) The virtual domain that is based on the real IP, where you can allocate an IP address to each virtual domain. The server uses this information to find out which domain it should pretend to be.
2) The fake ones – Where you use only one IP address and then the user needs to log in as 'user@domain.name' while fetching their email through POP so that it becomes easy for the server to understand which domain they belong to.

Hey, nice to hear that you are starting your own company.
So, to start with I would like to suggest you that first check if your hosting company is providing you the 100% white label reseller hosting. This will indicate that you have the complete authority to give your choice name to the brand and can promote so. That means while you resell the plans under your name, that time your customers won't be able to see anywhere the name of your parent company associated with you.
After selecting the reseller provider, create your hosting plans under your brand name and set the prices as per your standards.
Once, you are done with it, start selling your products and services.

1) In the case of Hybrid cloud, a company's cloud deployment gets divided into 2 parts public and private cloud infrastructure. Where the sensitive data is stored in the private cloud, and operations that don't use sensitive data are carried out in the public cloud.

2) Hybrid cloud is used to carry out the big data operations on insensitive data in the public cloud, and the sensitive data can be kept secured on the private cloud.

3) A community cloud is a recent version of the private cloud model, that provides you a complete solution for any business communities. Business shares the infrastructure to design software and development tools. This is done because each business has its own private cloud space that provides security, privacy and compliance needs that is common to the community.

Hi everyone,
One of my friends wants to start the small E-commerce business and he has given the online maintenance work to me.
Working on it, I came across the term 'Merchant account'. What does that mean? Is it compulsory to start the E-commerce business?
