You can also target social media first instead of getting featured in the media. As per opinion, due to small investment avoid paying high to the media publication at the initial stage.

It is true that startups lack publicity and recognition in the initial phase. There are various tactics that you can implement to get featured in media for e.g., throw a big event and invite all the reports with whom you have good contacts and those are new to your brand. Explain them why featuring your brand is important and why are the benefits of doing this.

I am thinking to start a new hosting business using a reseller hosting plan or as a reseller, but I have a question that can reseller grow bigger just having a reseller hosting account? Or he/she should buy a dedicated server or VPS?. Please help me to know properly so that I can step forward. Thankyou!!!

To some extend reseller hosting is good, but if you want to expand your business, then I would personally recommend you to choose your own dedicated or VPS server so that you'll get more disk space and bandwidth to manage the server.

Hello Guys!!

I am here on this forum to discuss a very important topic that how startups can get featured in the media. As you all know that in initial phase it is very difficult for startups to create awareness in the market. Every business owner must have questioned themselves that how to create awareness among your customers? And I think media is a powerful tool that will help you to create immediate awareness among customers.

As per my opinion, cold calling is dead and it does not give effective output. It is better to opt for email marketing as it is booming the market, and almost everyone has their own mail id.

Thank you!! Agree with Lokesh, I am also thinking to focus on email marketing instead of cold calling.

When you are closing any lead means you have some special skill as compared to others. My opinion is not only to call that generated leads and close the deal is not a cup of tea for this, you need to interact with leads and understand the actual situation. And also make a friendly relation with them for future deals. :)

In WordPress the user "contributor" can add content but cannot upload images using "add media" button. To allow such users to add images, add the below snippet in your themes functions.php file. You can add the code at the end of the file before the tag ?>
