Hello everyone,
I noticed that some of the hosting providers offer Softaculous with their hosting plans.
So can you guys tell me what is it exactly? And what are its uses?

Softaculous is used to install commercial and open source web applications to your website.
Its scripts are executed from the administrative area of a website control panel via an interface tool like cPanel and Plesk.
Many of the hosting providers offer this feature with their hosting plan so that you can install CMSs Joomla, Drupal, etc.

Softaculous is majorly used software auto-installer for cPanel that can install scripts and PHP classes.
Many hosting providers offer Softaculous so that user can install most used applications like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc to their hosting account. Installing these apps with Softaculous is very easy, or you can say it allows users to install such apps in just a click.
