« on: April 05, 2021, 12:34:28 PM »
I have created a website using a site pad, I find it very easy to create a new website.

I have a small website with just a few number product pages. But it loads slow & page load speed is not so good.

Please provide me some good suggestions that would help in optimizing the website speed.

Slow-loading websites rank poorly, drive less revenue, and cost more to run. Whatever business you’re in, if you have an online presence, improving your site speed is one of the most beneficial things. So if the website loads slow then it's not good for SEO.

Hence, here are some strategies for boost your website speed-:

1. Check and Improve the Speed of Your Hosting Provider.
2. Optimize Images.
3 . Enable Browser Caching.
4. Minify HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
5. Take Advantage of AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) and PWAs (Progressive Web Apps)
6. Kill Poorly-Performing Plugins.
7. Use a Content Distribution Network.

The download speed of e-commerce sites has greatly improved over the years because of the wider
availability of faster Internet service. But many retailers still struggle with making their
sites run quickly.

Here are 10 ways to increase and boost the speed of an e-commerce site.

1. Reduce Size of Page
2. Use a Content Delivery Network
3. Use Caching and In-memory Technology
4. Compress Data
5. Specify Image Dimensions
6. Optimize Platform Configuration
7. Use Fewer ‘Round Trips’
8. Monitor Site Speed
9. Avoid Redirects
10. Use Fast Hosting Servers

According to the HTTP Archive, images make up about half of the file size of a typical website. So, if you can reduce the size of the images you use on your web, you might be able to reduce the file size of your site significantly. Alternatively, if you're already using cheap hosting and your site is loading slowly, it's possible that you've outgrown your current host.
