I think the biggest challenge which eCommerce websites are facing is the abandonment of shopping carts. It is better to redesign the shopping carts and see to it that there are no bugs unnecessary clingy form filling processes.Keep the option of live chat available on your website as it reduces the shopping cart abandonment.

Being an eCommerce website owner, it's a very tough job to maintain the website from all perspective. I have noticed that many eCommerce owners fail to update the products and services as per the trend. Plus, limited payment options, delay in delivery of products and services, etc.
Last but not least, getting the best eCommerce hosting service for keeping the website live all the time is the main decision that many website owners often fail to make.

The biggest challenged I have faced for my eCommerce is the product return and refund work. I think most of the buyers don't read the return policy carefully and then ask us to refund them anyhow. And when the product is returned for the reason of customer dissatisfaction or product damage or whatever it may be, the business suffers a heavy loss of shipment.
Also, I have observed that customers may not highlight the good products but they will surely mention the poor products in the reviews section of your website. So make your return policy properly and do ask your customers to read it carefully.

The biggest challenge that is most difficult for me is that maintaining the product's updates. And the second challenge is attracting the perfect customers for the different products, people consider 100's of products which are the same as ours. so I feel that it's the thoughtest part for the initial stage.

Online shoppers do not shop in the same way they did in the past. On social media, they call for recommendations.
The way they consume content and connect online has changed dramatically. With technology and social media, they are easily distracted. So the greatest challenge I'm facing is attracting the ideal customer.

According to my opinion, the biggest E-commerce Challenge is Cyber & Data Security.

When it comes to eCommerce, one of the biggest challenges faced is security breaches. There is a lot of information/data that is involved while dealing with eCommerce and a technical issue with data can cause severe damage to the retailerís daily operations as well as brand image.

Solution: Be vigilant and always back up your data. Post that, you can install security plugins onto your website to prevent it from getting hacked. There are several plugins out there, pick one that works best for your eCommerce website.

Main Challenges Faced by E-Commerce Is

1. Cash on Delivery: Low credit card penetration and low trust in online transactions have led to cash on delivery being the preferred payment option in India. Unlike electronic payments, manual cash collection is laborious, risky, and expensive.

2. Location: If you place an online order in India, you will quite likely get a call from the logistics company to ask you about your exact location. Clearly, your address is not enough. This is because there is little standardization in the way postal addresses are written. Last-mile

3. Returns And Exchange: Though consumer remorse is a global problem, it is all the more prevalent in a country like India, where much of the growth comes from new buyers. Returns are expensive for Indian e-commerce players, as reverse logistics presents unique challenges. This becomes all the more complex in cross-border e-commerce.

4. Online Payments: For most e-commerce sites, the success of online payments is around 65 percent. This coupled with the low penetration of credit and debit cards and the reluctance of Indian consumers to put payment information online are major challenges. To overcome the lack of trust that often keeps customers from making online payments, players in this space are setting up wallets and trying new methods to build customer trust. issues add to Indian e-commerce logistics problems.
