Hi guys!
I am looking forward to set-up a reseller hosting account and also planning to offer 250 free hosting accounts to the users who have small blogs, website or company presentation websites.
I have a simple question that if a user is facing problems related to hosting and generated a ticket, then who will answer or handle the queries? I should handle or the company support from where I have purchased a reseller plan?
Please share your opinions that will help me to get clear knowledge.

Being a reseller, you should be the one to take care of your clients, but if in case you get another web hosting provider who offers end support then this will help you to increase your cost.

In reseller hosting you are only responsible for your own hosting business. This implies you are in charge of all end-client support and this incorporates many other services which you need to perform like for e.g., billing management, tech support, and all customer-service related interactions.

Normally by end user support the company means that they will assist you to fix the issues of your customers. As you will be providing free hosting service, I would suggest you to allow your clients to raise the support issues only through emails. Once you receive the email from your client, you can forward the issue to your hosting provider. Get it sorted from them and then update your client. This way you will not have to shell out extra money on support.

If you are expecting the hosting provider to directly handle your customer issues without you playing the role of the mediator then in such case you will have to pay extra for the support and service.

In case you're not prepared to make this commitment, and you need  a specialized support group to handle calls from your clients, then you ought to consider one of the best hosting providers who offer a special plan for that.

I contact to my provider and ask them for the support and I receive this answer:

" We provide 24/7 support for all our hosting plans. Once you purchase our reseller hosting plan, we will provide support for all the accounts under the reseller account, but you should contact us from the authorized email address".

This means that you have to forward your customers support request to the hosting provider and they will assist you properly what to do or vice versa. But I would suggest you that properly check the details of all plans before you buy.

Reseller packages are shared therefore I don't think any good provider will allow you to offer " Free Hosting" for  250 accounts. I would suggest you try Managed cPanel VPS and offer free hosting to your clients.

It also depends on the resources means what types of website they are using and its resources. But most of them use PHP/MySQL and bala give you the best suggestion better opt for VPS.
If you are not ready to use VPS then first try reseller then get switched to VPS but make sure that you will be using the same hosting provider.
