I have recently created a new wordpress site, and I have used some of themes from elegantthemes and templatemonster. But, I want to make my website more attractive and readable. So, what kind of template should I choose??

Hello, firstly you need to install Yoast SEO plugin in your wordpress site. You can select any template, as it won't make any difference on SEO part. Also, make sure that you choose the right WordPress template which won't slowdown your website.

I think selective templates are important and plays vital role in on-page SEO. A responsive theme are always been useful to on-page SEO.

You need to follow some basic rules for usage of template like configured themes with H1,H2 tags.
Also, you can test different templates demo version with available tool.

Yes, very rightly said. Templates and SEO are two different things. Templates are used for website designing, and SEO is your google ranking.

Ok, those suggestions helped me to understand usage of templates and their impact with on page activities. The kind of template has really no impact on SEO.
