Hi,
I have my eCommerce website with just 60 product pages. But the website is a little bit slow and, the page speed is also low. Just wondering, does page speed is a big deal for the ranking in Google? If yes, then how to improve this?

Page speed is important for all users, as well as SEO. Because the faster pages are more efficient and provide a better on-page user experience. If a page takes longer than 3 seconds to load, over a quarter of users will click away and choose a different search result.

To improve and boost the speed of an e-commerce site, you can use the following ways.
  • Use a Content Delivery Network
  • Avoid Redirects
  • Limit the page size
  • Reduce HTTP requests
  • Investigate poor performance
  • Specify Image Dimensions
  • Compress Data
  • Use Fast Hosting Servers

Most of the eCommerce websites build on eCommerce platforms and believe it or not but the platform you use also can affect your website speed. So I suggest to you some best eCommerce platforms that will manage your backend smoothly and provide top loading speed- WooCommerce, Shopify, 3DCart, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace, and Magento are the best eCommerce platforms that provide good uptime and fast speed to your website.
