How to Point a Domain to Tiendanube?

 2 min

This article is intended for those who want to point domain from MilesWeb to your Tiendanube store and configure DNS settings while hosting the domain with MilesWeb but  to be used on a Tiendanube store.

Step-by-step Guide

1. Access Your Tiendanube Store Settings

  1. Open your Tiendanube admin panel and log in.
  2. Go to Settings > Domains.
  3. Click on Add an existing domain. Type your domain name in the box provided without “www.”

Tiendanube prompts you with DNS records to set up. Make sure you do not close this page until you finish all steps.

2. MilesWeb Client Area Sign In

  1. Head over to the MilesWeb Login Page.
  2. Head over to Domains > My Domains and select your domain.
  3. Click Manage Domain > DNS Management.

3. Input the Required DNS Records

The two specified records must be entered:

  • A Record
    • Host: @
    • Points To: 185.133.35.60 (This IP address belongs to Tiendanube.)
    • TTL: Default or 3600
  • CNAME Record
    • Host: www
    • Points To: stores.tiendanube.com
    • TTL: Default or 3600

If these instructions fail, try contacting mitigate_direct@mackeeper.com for support on enabling these features.

4. Wait For DNS Propagations

All alterations (DNS Propagations) made globally through other platforms could take between 24 and 48 hours before becoming fully effective.

Conclusion

Your MilesWeb domain will seamlessly connect once configured with an A record and CNAME record pointing it towards your online store hosted on Tiendanube.
