Why CGI Scripts Are Not Working In Plesk?

There might be many causes relating to the functioning of the CGI scripts. This can be frustrating but there are ways for getting to the root of it.

  1. The initial step is to check the file permissions. Ensure that the file is readable and executable by the user under which it is running.
  2. The next step is to make sure that you have all necessary the CGI dependency libraries installed.
  3. You can also check the Apache error log at – ‘/var/log/httpd/error_log’ to know what error is being generated when the script runs.
